1. Program Description
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in through our website, intake, or checkout, you agree to receive text messages from Tor Health about your account and care: identity and account verification codes, reminders about consultations and follow-ups, requests for information your clinician needs, prescription and order updates, shipping notifications, and subscription and billing notices. Your care team at the affiliated medical group and the partner pharmacy that fills your prescription may also text you about your treatment and your order.
If you separately opt in to marketing texts, we may also send occasional messages about our services and offers. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
2. Opt-In Message
When you opt in, you will receive a confirmation message similar to: "Tor Health: You are now opted in to receive messages about your account, care, and orders. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out."
3. Message Frequency and Rates
Message frequency varies with your account activity, your care, and the programs you join. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan; you are responsible for those charges.
4. Opting Out
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive one final message confirming your opt-out, and no further messages from that program unless you opt in again. Opting out of marketing texts does not stop the account and care messages needed to provide your services; to stop those as well, reply STOP to one of them or contact us at support@bytorhealth.com.
5. Help and Support
Reply HELP to any message for help, or contact us at [support@bytorhealth.com](mailto:support@bytorhealth.com).
6. Carriers
Messages are sent through major U.S. wireless carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
7. Privacy and Security
We do not share or sell your mobile number, your opt-in, or your consent to receive text messages with any third party or affiliate for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share them only with the service providers that deliver our messages, and only to deliver them. Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle your information.
Standard text messages are not encrypted. Please do not text sensitive health information; use your patient account to message your care team. Text messages are not monitored in real time and are not for emergencies: if you have a medical emergency, call 911.
8. Changes
We may change these SMS Terms and Conditions and will post the updated version here with a new date. If you keep receiving messages after a change, you accept the updated terms; you can opt out at any time by replying STOP.
